*Bending, she tugged at a few smaller weeds that had crept up after the last gardening day. Ailwin was off on some mission. Kaden was on desk duty today, so she wasn't going near him with a 10 foot pole and bear gloves. Illy had rushed off with her camera in tow, so who knew where that tiger had ended up for the last hour. Turstin had been grudgingly helping her with yardwork, but they'd all grown accustomed to Ailwin doing most of it. Seeing the grumpy look on her mate's face as Presto chased the riding mower barking had almost taken her attention from the fact that he'd begun to strip down in the heat. Almost.*
*He'd seemed thoroughly relieved when his phone had chirped, and he'd been recalled to Tulane Medical Center for some kind of emergency. He'd gotten dressed and hurried to the trucks, leaving her alone at the Den. Well, with Presto, anyways. The dog snorted as he rooted around in the freshly dug dirt, causing her to pause to take one of the flower bulbs from him and put it back where it belonged* Presto. Not a digging spot. Shoo.
*Making shooing motions with her hands, her actions slowed as she felt the tell-tale trickle of awareness again. She'd come to realize that the person watching her wasn't actually watching "her". They seemed to be watching the Den, as she only felt it anymore when she was home. As Kaden and Illy had temporarily moved back into the Den itself while work was being done in the house, she couldn't say what the person was actually looking for.*
*However... someone spying on the Den would always be cause for concern. Their secrets here were meant to be kept protected. Sighing heavily, she pulled her phone from her pocket, sending a mass text to her family. * ~TXT~ We've got a problem.
