*Her job today was scrolling the news reels around the world. Every Sunday, when most papers were due out, they were gathered in a digital collection for agents to analyze. If something popped out as a possible case, it was marked for further investigation by the senior agents. It was time consuming, but it was part of what made the agency what it was.*
*Raising a brow as the word "Spontaneous Combustion" caught her eye, she almost snorted as she realized it was horse manure catching flame in New York. Not a headline she expected to see. Clearly, one of the newer agents was messing with her. Or at least, that's what she thought until she plugged the words into the network.*
*Major news stations hadn't carried it, but smaller local towns had. Just outside of New York, in a town called Westfield, there'd been reports of actual human combustion. Two, in fact. They'd been written off as accidental deaths and left at that. Most township police didn't know how to handle anything outside of their training so they marked them off as "I dunno". Well, that's where Psiforce came in.*
*Clicking to print, she stood to retrieve the papers from the printer on the other side of the room, before lightly tapping Mack's door. Spotting him on the phone, she motioned to the papers in her hand before setting them on the edge of his desk. Heading back to the desk, she stretched before sitting back down. Only about 400 of these bastards left to check and she'd be done.*
