*Pulling off the ear protection, she shook her head at Kaden after he did the same. As always, he antagonized the new recruits just to see which would screw up under pressure* Kaden, you realize that "asshole pressure" is different from "in the field pressure"? It's not fair to judge these poor people just because they can't put up with you. I know loads of people that can't put up with you yet would make fine agents.

*He laughed, hiding his sheet from her. He honestly did that shit just to fuck with people. Well, that and to watch the newbs get flustered and upset. Part of being a senior agent, you could be a dick to let off steam and it was considered part of the job. Only two had gotten low marks from him, and that's because the twitchy fucks couldn't concentrate worth a damn. Wasn't sure if it was their particular skills or what, but jumpy agents weren't anyone he wanted on his side in a fight* You notice the two at the end?
Amethyst Ayesha |PF|
*She glanced to the two recruits he'd motioned at, checking her scores she'd written down* Itchy fingers one and two? Yeah, you thinking drugs, powers, or ADHD? *She shrugged, holstering the training weapon at her hip* Doesn't really matter one way or another. If they are bleeding electrical signatures, they can't operate on the field. Same with ADHD or other behavioral issues. Drugs are even worse. I'd guess a combination of all three, most likely. They've got quite a few psychologists in their records. Treatment for our issues looks the same as ADHD to people who aren't like us. Anyone being treated with dopamine stimulants, we can't put in a high pressure environment. Mack would be crazy to even try.
Kaden Kaleva |PF|
Eh, Mack ain't never really been in his right mind though, has he? *Laughing, he followed her to the side door, leading to the outdoor track and simulation fields. Their recruits were lined up, waiting for instructions. Springtime meant Hell Week. Anyone Mack or other agents had sourced and spied on throughout the year was brought here. Senior agents made their lives fucking insane for almost a month. People thought SEAL training was bad, they hadn't dealt with him and Am yet. Bending into a few stretches, he loaded the small BB gun with high impact cartridges.*
Amethyst Ayesha |PF|
*She winced in preparation for what was to come. Kaden, as sweet as he normally was to her or those he cared about, could be a brutal asshole in training. He'd explained it once as that he'd rather they realize they couldn't hack it in a simulation and safe environment, than in the middle of a deep covert operation. Made sense, but she still suffered sympathetic pains while watching. Kaden took off, heading to higher ground. Her job was misleading, misdirection, and general anarchy. They'd been split into pairs by Mack for whose abilities would work well with the other. One person in each team had been given smaller clues in secret by other agents. Right now, as their superior officer, they'd trust her more. They needed to learn to trust what their partner said over what anyone else said or did. Blowing the small whistle, she pointed to the veritable maze in front of them* You have 30 minutes. Secure the perimeters. Protect your partners. You are looking for decoys. Bombs. Wireless transmitters. There are a plethora of goodies waiting for you. Always sweep from the edges. Keep your partner in sight. And... time starts... NOW!
Kaden Kaleva |PF|
*He took up residence in a nook located halfway up a large oak tree. As Am moved between the teams, spreading disinformation and giving them each specific assignments that would fuck them up, he carefully took aim. As soon as he squeezed the trigger, it was fucking pandemonium. They hadn't been told they'd be being shot at. Cadets dived to the ground, screams echoed. They tried to pinpoint his direction but he was careful to fire only when no one was in the line of sight to see the flash. Am was telling them to run towards his direction. The recruits that had been told where to go from someone else were more cautious, but were still following Am's directives for the most part. Only a few managed to remember their training. Even fewer managed to convince their partner to follow. Easy fucking pickings.*

*She almost laughed as all hell broke loose. She didn't even have to be near him to know that Kaden was having the time of his life. People were dropping to the ground in twos and threes. Cursing, she ducked cardboard "shrapnel" as someone hit a dummy mine. Smoke and dust filled the air, people were screaming to attempt to sort themselves via sound as sight was so limited. Shaking her head, she crossed her arms as she leaned against the false brick facade. And this was why she and Kaden supervised Hell Week. These baby recruits didn't realize, their month was just starting. They'd grow to hate their senior agents soon enough. If they didn't? Then she and Kaden hadn't done their jobs. As she went to turn, she let out a harsh gasp as pain ricocheted through her ass* You asshole! You shot me! *His uproarious laughter from the bank of trees made her groan. No way was she going to get a shot off without him anticipating it* I'm telling Turstin! AND Illy!
