Long ago, there existed a book, called the Orbis Exodi. It chronicled the exodus and ascent of the elemental Sidhe to the mortal realm, where we cast off the magic of our homeland. We became, in essence, mortal. The Orbis Exodi has been lost to the tomes of time, vanished without a trace. Yet myths and legends still exist, whispered deep in the dark of night.
We were told that once we left Sidhe, we could never return. We'd lost what made us Tuatha Dé Danann, and thus could never breach that barrier again. Rumors say that the Orbis contains the secrets of our kind, and the ultimate betrayal. For many say there is a way to go home, that our kings and queens had lied to us to escape persecution once we had adapted to the mortal way of thinking. They were fearful that, after having lived so long among them, we'd reject the monarchy we'd lived in peace with before.
If true, this could rewrite our history. It could allow us to return to Sidhe, where we belong. Now, we search for the Orbis, for the truth. May Danu help them if the rumors are true. May Danu save them if we return to our ancestral home, wiser and stronger than before.
